congonhas airport negotiation support
Skylark provided advisory services to LATAM Airlines as part of the airline’s negotiations with AENA to ensure the redevelopment of Congonhas Airport (“CGH”) in São Paulo was consistent with LATAM’s ability to operate efficiently during and after construction, and that the facilities allow LATAM to achieve their commercial and operational objectives in the market. Skylark:
Provided insights into services and facilities that would allow LATAM to provide a premium customer experience (above- and below- the-wing) to high value customers at CGH;
Reviewed and analyzed the design of the new passenger terminal and ramp to ensure that it is consistent with delivering a turn-around-time of 30 minutes for an Airbus A320;
Validated the capacity of the passenger terminal to ensure that it is consistent with activity forecast at a level of service consistent with LATAM’s commercial objectives;
Reviewed and analyzed air space management to ensure that commercial and private operations could be handled efficiently and allow LATAM to achieve its operational goals; and
Ensured that LATAM’s cargo, ground service equipment, and aircraft maintenance facilities and operations would not negatively impacted by airport construction activities.
